Sailing the “Baja-Bash”, from La Paz, Mexico to San Diego, California
or …. “what happens when an Experienced Sailboat Captain decides to take a Surfer and a Kayaker as crew members, on a 10-day mission to deliver a 40-foot sailboat from Baja to California, on a 1,000 Nautical Miles endeavor against winds and current?…”

A few months ago I called my friend Rod, who is an experienced sailing Captain, asking him if he was going to sail in the open ocean soon. My target was to gain more offshore experience: feel the huge swell, the strength of the ocean, the power of the wind, experience a storm maybe. I also wanted to learn how to sail. Don’t we all want, one day…., to buy a sailboat and sail around the world?
Well, it happened!!!
